Script2Stage2Screen is an innovative performing arts organization for the development of original productions on the stage and screen. Our dynamic ensemble of playwrights, actors, filmmakers and technicians, commits to developing new productions, from their inception in a script to their full realization on the stage or into a feature length film. Formed in 2010 by a small group of playwrights, S2S2S started as a vehicle to premiere original plays. Since then, we've developed into a diverse performing arts organization of the Coachella Valley that produces plays, staged readings and even feature length films.
We strive to be a truly innovative and progressive 21st century organization. Our artistic focus as the premiere playwrights' theatre of the desert is on producing plays and films that engage our social conscious as part of our commitment to the principles of Unitarian Universalism on which we were founded.
- The inherent worth and dignity of every person
- Justice, equity and compassion in human relations
- Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our community
- A free and responsible search for truth and meaning
- The goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all
By committing to original and responsible work and collaborating with the entire artistic community of the Coachella Valley, we believe we're forging a new path for performing arts organizations of the 21st century and we hope you will join us!
Script Submission Information
We accept script submissions each year from May 1 through July 1. Our season is selected by the end of July and announced the first of August.
We accept both one act and full length plays, comedies and dramas. We prefer scripts written for actors 40 years old and up. S2S is always looking for work that is thought provoking, diverse, and character driven. We do not produce musicals, fantasies, or youth oriented work.
To submit work for consideration, please email scripts to Gina Bikales at email@example.com. Thank you for your interest.
